I am happy to report that one of my paintings has found a new home. I was particularly attached to this piece but it will be residing with good friends so I can visit it from time to time. It worked out well because I've done about 4-5 new paintings recently and have a dozen or more sitting around so I needed the space.
I've been painting abstracts recently and they're definitely a radical departure from the old school realism from yesteryear. Textures and glazes have always intrigue me and are starting to gain momentum in the local art scene so I figure I give it a try. I'll post some pictures soon.
